This
natural born leader is one of the kindest people, he has a compassion for others
and for digimon. He does what needs to be done to protect his friends and
family. Takato considers Guilmon to be a part of him, he often fear that he’d
lose Guilmon, which would mean he’d lose a part of himself. He values their
friendship and continues to learn from his friends. Takato often at first tried to keep Guilmon out of trouble, he probably told him over a hundred times to don’t leave. It was because his parents couldn’t accept that he was responsible, but they slowly changed their minds about him when they knew he could take care of himself and Guilmon. Instead of seeing him as “just a kid”, they knew he was old enough to make decisions, so they put a lot of trust in him.
Takato also likes Jeri, a girl in his class which later became a Tamer. He loves having fun and he isn’t afraid to stand up for his friends.
