Long ago in the Digital World, there was war between
the human and beast type Digimon, until Lucemon, an Angel Digimon appeared and
taught them how to live in peace. He happily ruled in peace, but that did not
last long. Lucemon's powers corrupted him and turned him evil. Thankfully there
were 10 legendary warriors who stood up to him and fought until the end. Lucemon
was banished in the Dark Area, and the legendary warriors did not survive for
long. Their spirits were given to three Celestial Angel Digimon: Cheruibumon
(beast spirits), Ophanimon and Seraphymon (human spirits). They again ruled in
peace, but that was short lived.
Cherubimon thought that Ophanimon and Seraphymon were only considering about the
human type Digimon. He became very angry because he thought nobody wanted to
listen to him. One day, he saw them talk in private and that was the last we saw
the good side of Cherubimon. He turned into his evil virus self and started
destroying the Digital World and collecting it's data.
Ophanimon sacrificed her freedom to save Seraphymon, as they ended up battling
each other. She had no choice but to send a message to several other worlds to
ask for help. She was answered by 5 children from Earth. Takuya, Kouji, Zoe, JP
and Tommy. These humans took the Trailmon and came to the Digital World.
These children chose themselves to be the Digidestined, which they must find the
spirit of the legendary warriors to evolve into these Digimon. However, they did
not taken account that four of those warriors became evil under Cherubimon.
The Digidestined go a long way and defeat the evil ones, after destroying and
purifying Cherubimon's evil data, they were told that Cherubimon was just used
by Lucemon so that he would bring the Digital World's data. If Lucemon has all
of the Digital World's data, he would be revived. The Digidestined face the
ultimate battle when Lucemon was revived and the whole Digital World was
destroyed.
