Jeri is
Takato’s classmate, she is often seen with a puppet, Jeri is always seen as
happy, down to earth and friendly. She didn’t find out about digimon was real
until halfway through the season, but she loved them, especially Guilmon. When she first met Leomon, she chased him around saying he was destined to be her partner, however Leomon wasn’t too sure about that. She was really kind towards Leomon, which earned his respect. However, when Leomon died to save her and the others, Jeri become extremely depressed and sad. She felt that they were destined to fail, and there was no meaning in her life.
This made her the easiest target for the D-reaper to possess her. When it did, Jeri was taken to a place, she sat there, until Calumon and Beelzamon came to rescue her. Jeri gradually realised that her destiny wasn’t meant to be like this, she was able to fight back and free herself.
