Digimon World: Dawn/Dusk
Note: Dawn and Dusk have the exact same plot. The only differences are exclusive Digimon in these two versions.
The Review by Susanna
You first choose a name, gender and Digimon pack.
After talking to people and having short battles, you go off to your Tamer Home for the first time and taking a nap, you discover that a virus has attacked the Digital City, turning most of the city into Digieggs. You are the only one not fully affected, so you must stop this virus!
Your ultimate Digimon has now turned into rookies. When you defeat this virus, you are given the chance to do different quests.
Each quest requires you to do something different. Some are looking for specific items, such as Biyomon's lipstick. Others may be delivering something, or lokoing for milk to make a digimon's favourite juice, or looking for a missing person called Glare.
Quests progresses from easy to hard ones. There are five types of quests. Quests from Holy, Dragon, Flying and Water Digimon, as well as ones from the Union.
You get to do lots of battling and experience learning. You can buy a digifarm for your Digimon to grow and gain exp in, buying farm goods will raise specific attacks, resistance or defence.
You can trade Digimon through wireless and battle others using wi-fi. You can also increase your tamer rank from a normal tamer, levelling up all the way up to Platinum. Many quests are done by having specific Digimon in the digifarm, or completing a number of requirements.
The music is very catchy, especially the battle theme and digivolution theme.
Digivolution can occur when Digimon has met certain requirements. For example, Angewomon must be level 64, Spirit 400 with 20000 Holy exp before she can digivolve to Ophanimon. To train Digimon well, an important thing to do is degenerate them, as when you train them up again, all their stats will grow higher.
It is very rewarding to train your Digimon and become more powerful.
