THE DIGIDESTINED

(season one)

TAI KAMIYA
Very cool and funny. His voice really made him sound like the leader, and sometimes even soothing. There are some times that he has to sound bold and daring, which showed exactly that through his voice. He also sounded very mature and even humourous at times.

MATT ISHIDA
He's the lonewolf, and sometimes he has conflicts with others, and perhaps even himself. His voice shows every aspect of that, and the times when he is angry, sad, confused, happy, serious and any other emotions are just spot on.

IZZI IZUMI
Izzy's voice is very reminscent of the poor days spent inside with a cold. His voice is very plain after this detail is overlooked. When others would have sounded surprised and raised their voice, his voice deepens. The voice actress behind Izzy also does a very good job of sounding as a 10 year old boy should. However, there are certain moments where he does sound to have a slightly more feminine voice than normal.

SORA TAKNOUCHI
Very smooth and mature voice, motherly as well. It sounds very much like she takes care of everyone else. You can really hear the helpfulness in her voice, just perfect for the role. Through her voice, you can really hear the caring and kindness of Sora, but also very determined and dramatic at the right time. It's very rare to find an excellent voice like that.

JOE KIDO
His voice is funny! Extremely hilarious and love all the jokes. He sounds great when being paranoid, and you can really laugh along with him.

MIMI TACHIKAWA
Very much fitting the role of a girl who started off being a princess that couldn't get used to the walking around, and later became a strong part of the team. For each part, her voice pulled off extremely well, especially during the early stages.

T.K. TAKAISHI
Very great for a young boy's voice. His voice is full of happiness, whilst still young, he has a heart of hope. The voice is excellent for when he was a bit of a crybaby sometimes but that will not stop him. You can really hear his child-like voice, and how he has to face the different events at that age. He sounds very good when he's mad as well, very real.

KARI KAMIYA
Kari's voice is one of young, but sounding as brave as her brother, even when darkness rules, she will be the new light. Her voice shows a lot of courage and determination, as well as bravery. Her voice may sound like a normal 8 year old, but her voice is as pleasant as her nature.

(season two)

DAVIS MOTOMIYA
About the spunkiest, awesome voice there is for that dude. Being the leader, his voice really shows proud and leader-ish. You could tell that he wasn't going to give up, the last few episodes was extremely good, as it fits his charachter definatley, because he's a leader.

YOLEI INOUE
Yolei's voice sounds exited, like she enjoys life, that she definatley likes to talk. It fits her character very much. A very good job with her sometimes sounding like she is in panic and frustration, when she doesn't know what to do.

KEN ICHIJOUJI
One of the best performances. It isn't easy voicing a character that's evil, then changing it to a confused, person that is really very lonely and lost inside. When Ken was the Digimon Emperor, there was a fear behind his voice, perhaps intimidating. When Ken was good, it was impossible not to feel sad for him, and love this character for what he had overcome. His voice really said it all and is one of the best.

CODY HIDA
The seriousiness of this voice fits the role of Cody, and you can really hear when he's angry or unhappy with something.

T.K. TAKAISHI
The older TK voice sounds very different, one of more mature and wise, as well as needing to protect Patamon from everything possible. The parts where he's angry with evil feels very real and he does a great job.

(season three)

TAKATO MATSUKI
Perfect voice. It fits his character which begins as quite naiive, then with the determination to fight to protect his friends. He also shows one of the best voices with full of feelings, for example, when he was talking to Jeri on the train. You could really feel his sadness, and when he said goodbye to Guilmon, you could hear how much he wanted his friend to stay.

RIKA NONAKA
You could really feel the love and hate in Rika. At first, you feel like saying to her, what is she thinking? Then later, you can't help but feel so proud of what she had learned. It's all in her voice, the determination, strength in this character. The beginning, she sounds very cold, and hard to get along with, and by the end you can really hear the warmth and compassion she had for her friends and other digimon through the tone of her voice.

HENRY WONG
Henry sounds extremely afraid of something at first, the need to do things alone, and during the end, when he was letting go of Terriermon, the voice is enough to make you cry. The voice was really powerful with depicting emotions.

JERI KATOU
A very good role, Jeri was the very happy girl and you could jump with her and laugh along, then when she becomes depressed after Leomon dies, you could also feel like you're with her. You could also feel like cheering for her when she realised her destiny isn't to be alone, all of that showed to the very end in her voice.

KAZU SHIOTA
Cool dude! Very cool! He has the best conversations with his Digimon partner, and he makes it sound absoutely hilarious too.

KENTA KITAGAWA
He sounds like a happy-go-lucky person, and really fun. His voice is very much like that, and you really laugh with him when he's having a good time.

RYO AKIYAMA
He sounds very friendly, and also like to tease. It's a fun thing to hear when he was trying to impress Rika, he also sounds extremely the type that makes friends with everyone.

SUZIE WONG
Really sweet and cute for a young girl. Also the accent is quite funny, you can really tell this girl's got a lot of spirit and bravery by her voice, that she is determined to help. She also sounds funny at times, which just makes me laugh heaps.

(season four)

TAKUYA KANBARA
His voice can tell you what his nature is, but that doesn't stop him from defeating his adversaries, with him as a leader there is hope for the digital world. His determination really

KOJI MINAMOTO
His voice is a forgotten secret. The cold tones in his voice are depicted extremely well, you can really feel the love and hate in his voice, the unsureness and when he is under Duskmon's attack and his screams were just so real and you feel like you're right there with him. His voice showed his unhappiness and loneliness very much.

TOMMY HIMI
Quite excellent, you could hear at first he was scared to death and cries with everything, then he grew much stronger and braver. Through his voice, you could feel extremely proud of someone like him, that's a very excellent thing.

KOICHI KIMURA
A spectacular voice. He's pain and confusion really makes you feel every part of it, as well as when he was evil. This performance is one of the hardest, yet it was pulled off as one of the best. He showed so much depth in the character by just hearing his voice. His voice definitely stands out and bringing out the personality of Koichi.

ZOE ORIMOTO
Her voice has very much Zoe's qualityes, at first perhaps a bit bossy, and sometimes sweet and worried as well. You can hear this softness and determination in Zoe's voice.

JP SHIBAYAMA
JP's voice fits his character of sometimes being arrogant, and annoyed. You could feel that he wasn't very happy about getting his spirit last through the way he talks.

THE DIGIMON

GATOMON
Her voice seems happy but there seems to be a bit of sorrow behind it. Ever since Wizardmon died, she has been trying to get on track on her life again but kari help bring that happy kitty's happiness out. The voice makes her sound cute and much like a cat.

GABUMON
The voice of Gabumon is one of compassion, as well as a low type voice that suits him well. He sounds serious and helpful, which is what Gabumon does!

AGUMON
He can sound really silly, and also quite curious, as well as being the Digimon of the leader, he often takes the lead. He sounds very courageous!

BIYOMON
A really sweet and soft sound, she sounds like she would do anything for someone she cares about. Really great hearing her upbeat, happy voice.

TENTOMON
A comedic, funny voice, most times. Tentomon is quite hilarious at times, especially when he is fascinated or talks to Izzy, and his voice brings out the humour of him.

PALMON
She is so excellent, first being sweet, as well as when she is sad, you could really feel it, like when she didn't want to see Mimi cos it was too hard to say goodbye. Just the way she said it was so wonderfully done.

GOMAMON
A very funny voice for a cute and funny Digimon. He has some awesome jokes which are said extremely well and you can find the laugh out of it.

PATAMON
A very sweet voice, you can totally imagine that being Patamon's voice. It's got that soft, sound of a young child even. He was very great being scared and brave.

VEEMON
Hilarious! Very funny and Veemon gives you the happiest feeling hearing him talk. He's voice is somehow carefree, funny, and even cute. You could really tell how much he enjoys life and that he doesn't give up with anything as well.

HAWKMON
Quite a funny voice, love it when he digivovles. And quite a funny accent, perhaps a bit unexpected for him.

ARMADILLOMON
What a cool accent! Not sure what it's called though, but it really suits him I think.

WORMMON
I particularly like when Wormmon was trying to convince Ken that he wasn't evil. It just felt really real and you really could hear how much he was trying.

GUILMON
Seriously, the best ever Digimon voice. His voice makes me want to hug him. The way he loves his bread, how much he loves to play and have fun, his free spirited personality, and how cute of him to say Takatomon. Guilmon has one of the extraordinary voices that makes him to the very top. There could not be a better voice for him.

RENAMON
She sounds powerful, and like she likes power, however there is also a soothing sound behind this Digimon, one of protection and wisdom. When she wanted to protect other Digimon from the D-Reaper, you really could hear the soft side of Renamon.

TERRIERMON
Very hilarious and whacky, I love the way he talks and that he's always saying Momentai, even when everyone else is panicking to death.

LEOMON
Sounds really powerful, kind, considerate and just the way many would imagine Leomon to be.

GUARDROMON
So funny, whacky, hilarious and just one of the all-time funniest. I could seriously laugh to death by his extremely funny sense of humour, and if it wasn't for the voice, I doubt the humour would be felt. He is honestly one the outstanding voices.

MARINEANGEMON
Her voice is absoutely sweet. Really fitting for a little creature like MarineAngemon.

CYBERDRAMON
Sounds quite like a fighting machine, which is exactly what Cyberdramon is, also good with the low, type of sound making him sound tough.

LOPMON
Quite sweet and really suited with Suzie, the parts where Lopmon is being squashed by little Suzie, and her reaction is hilarious, but also good at the serious parts where Lopmon does not want to hurt anyone.

CALUMON
Adorable! That's it, just plain sweet. His voice makes me want to squeeze him, one of the cutest voice in Digimon.

IMPMON
Fantastic voice, when he is evil, you could feel how much he disliked humans, then when he was good, you couldn't help but feel sorry for him and forgive him.

BEELZEMON
Definitely evil when he is, you feel extremely afraid of him, perhaps even think he is out of his mind. And the times when he's good, again he sounds very sorry, as well as quite funny with the accent that he's got.

BOKOMON
Bokomon sounds wise, and like he knows what he's talking about, he does so well being frustrated with Neemon's lack of knowledge on everything, and makes it very funny and entertaining.

NEEMON
Neemon sounds silly and curious, like his personality. Nobody could have done a better job with voicing Neemon. He brings out such a bright side of this show, and really makes it fun and sweet to watch.

PATAMON (frontier)
So cute, and the voice sounds really much like young, which Patamon was as he was born straight to Patamon. One of the sweetest sounds of Digimon, and love it when Patamon says papamom, or when he's really scared, especially when he just came out of the egg.
